Checkup instructions

1. Please consume a blend diet 3 days before the checkup. Avoid consuming a diet that is high is protein, high in sugar, high in sodium ( Salt) , alcoholic drinks and ensure ample rest. Avoid fatigue.

2. Ensure that you are fasted 8 hours before your blood work. Avoid consuming any meals after dinner the day before the checkup. Avoid any meals after 8pm as this might affect the fasting glucose test results. You may have sips of water.

3. Do remain fasted on the day of checkup. ( No Food and drinks) , in preparation for the blood work and Ultrasound procedures. Do drink 3-5 glasses of water if you are going for a Ultrasound of the female reproductive system or an ultrasound of the prostate to ensure that the bladder is distended.

4.Huajian Laboratories requires all blood samples to be sent for testing before 10:30 each morning. Any later than this timing, might cause a false negative glucose reading. As such, please come please come on time for your appointment.

5. Clients with the following chronic conditions are advised to continue having their daily dosage of medications. The following are: Diabetic, High Blood Pressure, Heart problems and Asthma.

6. Clients who are undergoing the X-ray examination are advised against putting on any clothing that has any metallic pieces or adornments and do not wear any necklace, ear rings or pendants.

7. Clients going for the gastrointestinal endoscopy  will need to call the hotline at 4006700128 to have a pre-procedure consultation with the doctor and ensure that the relevant checks needed for the scope are carried out before our medical team are able to put you  on the list for the procedure.

8. Notice for Female Checkup attendees.
1) It is advised against putting on any heavy makeup, putting on of pantyhose, do not one pieces dresses or suits , and do not wear jewelry so as not to affect the checkup.
2) Please inform our registration counter staff to omit any radiological tests and cervical smear tests if you think you are pregnant or may be pregnant.
3）You will not be able to do the following tests if you are having your periods and will need to postpone them till 3 days after your period are over and make an appointment for those tests. The tests are: Gynecological examination and urine tests and ultrasound of the female reproductive organs.
